Does MyOwnTherapist.com Share the Information It Receives?

Information about our clients is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We share customer information only if your problem is a perplexing one that we need to seek an outside opinion from another psychologist, in which case we do not share any of your contact details, and we make NO money from this, we do not sell or provide any of your information to anyone unless it is to help respond to your query.

How Secure Is Information About Me?

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission.
We do not store any information pertaining to credit card details. The entire credit card number is transmitted to the appropriate credit card company. Likewise, none of the credit card information is stored during the order verification process.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Myowntherapist.com uses eSec Limited's Internet payment service gateway to provide a secure environment for the authorisation of credit card transactions over the Internet. Confidential information including client credit card details are encrypted the moment they are transmitted from the client's browser to the banking network using industry standard SSL 128-bit RC4 encryption technology.

A client's credit card details are not stored anywhere on the Internet and the only company who has access to this data is the merchant's bank. The bank also sends confirmation information via the same encryption technology back to the client's browser. These secure processes provide clients with peace of mind when purchasing online.
